Being the UniSMS informer for a class is not an easy job, it's a great responsibility as there's no forgiveness when you misuse it... not from your class... nor from the UniTeam.
There are no certain rules for that position, but these are some of the qualifications that we search for:
1. You must be one of the most popular persons in your class.
2. Give your contacts to all the teaching stuff of your class. (Mobile, Home phone, eMail... etc)
3. Being the delegate of your class is an advantage. (مندوب الدفعة)

UniSMS costs lots of money... so we generally limit its usage depending on many factors.

Usually, you didn't update your profile when you joined the service.
1st: Make sure that your profile is updated with your CURRENT Department and Studying year... click HERE.
2nd: You may need to Edit your UniSMS details.

That may happen for many reasons... like:
1. There's no UniSMS informer for your class / Your class is not active on UniMasr... revise question #6.
2. You joined a class other than yours... revise question #8.

That may happen for many reasons... like:
1. Your mobile inbox is full or there's a problem in your mobile... try to fix it. (Do you receive SMSs from others?)
2. A problem with your mobile network or you might be out of coverage when we sent the UniSMS.
3. A problem with our SMS provider.

Only the UniTeam.
UniSMS informers don't see the database at all for privacy rights of the students.

For many reasons... like:
1. Editing any wrong data.
2. Contacting a certain user if there's something urgent.
3. Getting mobile numbers to send the UniSMS !!!!

Yes, like messages from organizations in our community that in cooperation with UniMasr.
Ex: CEDO, STP, SPE... etc.... or any other types of messages !
